This just in from Molly Goldston of Saving Grace Animal Adoptions. Please give if you can: Dear
Volunteers and supporters, I want to reach out to you and ask for your support at this
time. We have experienced an unprecedented shortage of donations this year and will soon be unable to continue our program
if we are not soon in better financial standing. Saving Grace has been a very successful program since 2004 and has helped
thousands of homeless animals in our community find loving homes. I am asking you to consider making
a gift to Saving Grace to help us through this time. It saddens me to think of the animals we are turning away regularly
and I hope to soon resume bringing them into our program. Please reach out to your friends and contacts and encourage them
to make a gift as well. Saving Grace is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. You can view our
donations page on the website at www.savinggracenc.org. We are most in need of financial gifts to assist with vet care and accumulated
veterinary expenses. Thank
you so much for your support. The animals depend on you to provide them with a much needed and well appreciated second chance
in life. Saving Grace Animals for Adoption P. O. Box 1649

My day by Kazul
Hung out this morning with some new friends down at a local preschool here in Raleigh, showed 'em
my tricks. Started them off with some easy ones, wave and play dead, then really got them giggling with my tidy-up skills
and stealing a tissue from mom's pocket when she sneezed! That one always works. Oh, and since it
was a preschool in a church they really liked it when I said my prayers (know your audience I always say). My mom was
very proud of me, I think I made up for my less-than-stellar behavior on our walk this morning.... Kazul

See Spot Read
Lily and I just got back from our first meeting of "See Spot Read" at Fox Elementary School
in Raleigh. This is a program that matches beginning readers with Therapy Certified dogs. The idea is that the
kids will want to read out loud to the dogs and not be shy or embarrassed. We had a great time and met some really sweet
kids! Lily was in it strictly for the pats, but the kids didn't care and were happy to read their books for her.
We'll be back next week!
